In honour of ‘National Joe day’ (yes today is that day)…. we thought we’d introduce you to our marketing executive and singing extraordinaire, Joe!
For just over two years, Joe’s played an integral role in PWS’ marketing team. Here we chat to him about his likes, dislikes, responsibilities and most importantly, how he can help your business on a daily basis.
Happy Joe day, Joe! Firstly, tell us a little about yourself…
Haha…thanks! Well (if you hadn’t of gathered), my name’s Joe, I’m 25 and I’m from Middlesbrough! (That sounds as if i’m introducing myself on a dating program…)
You’ve worked at PWS for just over two year’s now; what’s your day-to-day role?
I’m also the main point of contact for all our customers who require imagery, real kitchens and retailer help!
What did you do before you joined the PWS team?
After graduating from university in 2015, with a BA Hons in Business Management, I worked as a marketing assistant at a company specialising in outdoor power products; so a little different to the KBB industry.
What do you enjoy most about working within a marketing environment?
I think, especially in regards to our team, we have such a wealth of experience across marketing, graphic design, social media and PR, so it’s great to get the opportunity to gain additional knowledge across all areas.
This also helps us to offer a well-rounded experience to our customers, as no matter who you speak to, they will try and help – and if they don’t know the answer, they’ll certainly find out.

What would your biggest piece of marketing advice be?
It’s not really advice, more awareness, but we can provide you with the most up-to-date kitchen imagery, brochures and collateral, as well as offering help on PR, social media, marketing and promotional ideas, so we really are such a useful extension to your business.
Do you have a favourite look/set/product and why?
We’ve just this week introduced a new range content for one of our best-selling doors, so I think my revised favourite would have to be, Porter Gloss White. If your customer is in the market to create an ultra-modern, minimalist design, then this door really does satisfy this growing trend.
And finally, what’s this about you being a singing extraordinaire?
Haha, I knew this would come up! Well, I’ve always had a passion for music, and have been working (outside of work) as a singer/songwriter for the last four years.
It’s going great – I’ve just released two new singles and am booked up most weekends with gigs, so who knows where it may lead…
