To support its successful national template and fit service for granite, quartz and timber, PWS has opened a southern distribution hub. Based in Harlow the centre is a shared facility with Kings Transport Services who have over 30 years experience in transport and distribution.

Worksurfaces leave PWS on a Stiller’s nightly trunk, arriving in Harlow in the early hours of the morning ready for the fitting teams. PWS employ a manager at the new hub who is responsible for quality inspections and staff training. Kings and sister company Stillers are part of the Palletline network, ensuring both the site and services are to an excellent standard. With a house removal side to the business, both companies are used to handling large items such as grand pianos to snooker tables so have extensive experience in working with heavy, fragile and valuable goods.

The complete PWS worksurface portfolio is now entirely manufactured in the dedicated factory in Newton Aycliffe which houses granite, quartz and timber production. Leadtimes continue to be very competitive at only 5 working days from template to fit and all fitting teams are employed directly by PWS.
